These marvelous Saintpaulia’s from the Spectra® cultivars are commonly known as ‘African violets’. They are available in a variety of different colors, such as white, purple, pink, and blue. Some species have flowers of two colors.
Species of Saintpaulia’s have been refined and produced into three cultivars that are called Inova Spectra-Color®, Inova Chimera® and the hanging Saintpaulia variety Inova Taita®. These varieties are renowned not only for their abundance of flowers, but also for their extended tenability.
Inova Taita® enables you to get a Saintpaulia for the hanging basket on your balcony, or to have it cheer up that corner of your living room. Of course you can plant the hanging Saintpaulia in a tall vase or pot as well, and have its flowers drape elegantly over the brim.
Your African violets have originated in the mountains of Tanzania. Thanks to a centuries-long process of refinement and cross-breeding, our strong and fresh flowering present-day varieties have been developed.
